HOW TO JOIN
The Application Procedure
Welcome. Thank you for your interest in aikido and our Academy.
Obviously you are interested in finding out more about aikido and our way of teaching it.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Academy we ask that you do the following:
- Call us to make an appointment to come into the Academy so that you may observe a training session. You can then get a better understanding of Aikido and also we can get to know each other better.
- After observing a class and you are still interested, you may want to try an introductory class. This class is designed to give you a ‘taste’ of Aikido and what it has to offer you.
- Upon completing your introductory class and you still wish to join, we can then discuss payment options and requirements as to uniforms and equipment.
- Please be aware that there are certain rules and regulations that all members must adhere to. You will be given a manual that clearly states these rules. The Academy reserves the right to refuse any application or expel members if they are not adhering to these rules.
