Welcome to the West Coast Aikido Academy of Western Australia website.

Established in 1993 by Principal Instructor Ross Taylor, 4^th Dan, the Academy is one of the largest in Western Australia and has provided quality instruction to hundreds of people of all ages from children, teens to adults.

Aikido is a peaceful, non-competitive Japanese martial art that relies on technical skill and awareness to neutralise an attack.

Training in Aikido will dramatically improve you physically, mentally and spiritually whilst providing you with skills that can be used in every aspect of your life.

Training is conducted in a friendly and safe environment where you are encouraged to set goals and achieve them a realistic timeframe.

The focus of training is on your personal growth and how we can help you achieve your goals.
